We will move our bodies and work with our breath to create flexibility, balance, strength, and peace. Truly all-levels welcome!
Whitetop Yoga teaches on the studio floor at TrailTown, and everything you need is already here. Mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters are provided. You're welcome to bring your own mat if you'd rather practice on something familiar, but nothing is required beyond comfortable clothes.
The room is set up before each class, so you can arrive, find a spot, and settle in. Come five or ten minutes early if it's your first time; Robyn or Kelly will get you sorted with props and answer anything you're wondering about.
If you've never done yoga, this is a good place to start!

Robyn became the owner of Whitetop Yoga in 2017,believing both in the practice and community it creates. First introduced to yoga almost twenty years ago, she uses her practice to work toward better life balance and is amazed by its ability to create space and time.
A southwest Virginia native, Robyn moved back to the region after completing her BFA in textile design from Moore College of Art & Design (Philadelphia); working for Betsey Johnson, New York fashion designer; and completing the Core Fellow Program at the Penland School of Crafts (NC). In 2017, she completed her Master's Degree in Natural Resources from Virginia Tech's Center for Leadership in Global Sustainability.
As the owner of Whitetop Yoga, she is excited to support gratitude, mindfulness, and intention with the local community and visitors to the region.
She loves balancing her space and time between her yoga and art studios and farming.

Kelly Hill Blevins is a yoga lover, wild at heart and sun seeking adventurer. She loves to empower her students by fostering the idea that their time on the mat is an adventure for you, by you.
Her love for adventure and discovery started when she was a kid. Once she realized her dreams of becoming the next Indiana Jones required a college education she joined the United States Air Force. This is where she learned the true value of service; service to self, her country and community. It was during her enlistment that she conducted her first physical training session as a physical training leader. This is how she became hooked on instructing. It led her to pursue a BS in Exercise Science and become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
After she had her son Wyatt, her sense of service become solely focused on family. She had forgotten all about service to herself until yoga came into her life. It was the time she spent on her mat that allowed her to reconnect to her true inner light, that wild Indiana Jones loving adventurer. Through this new found joy, she was able to honestly communicate to herself and others.
She sought her yoga teacher training through the Hawaii Yoga Institute and whether it is ten minutes of meditation or an hour of movement, her goal is to give back to her community. She loves to create a safe environment for students of all levels to open their hearts to the idea that self care is NOT selfish.
You don't need to be flexible, experienced, or ready. All you have to do is walk in!
